You may remember THIS POST from August, when I gave a sneak peek at a layout I was working on.
Well, that layout is finally out in the current issue of Scrapbooks etc., which means I can share it now.
BTW, the version below may look a little bit different from the one that appears in the magazine, because I changed it before I sent it in. I made the photos a little larger and rearranged the journaling and title to accommodate the larger pictures.
As seen in Scrapbooks etc. Jan/Feb 2010 issue (pg. 50). SOURCES Cardstock: Bazzill Basics (turquoise color). Patterned Paper: Cosmo Cricket Jolly By Golly Sweater Weather (striped paper) and Breezy Freezy (wind gust paper). Rub-ons: Making Memories Simply Stated Rub Ons (Brrr..., Winter, and When It's Cold Outside), Heidi Swapp Rub Ons (so cool!). Chipboard: Cosmo Cricket Jolly By Golly 12Inch Icon Ready Set Chipboard, Fancy Pants Biggest Board Chipboard (large scalloped chipboard). Ink: Colorbox (Cocoa)
Almost everything used on this page is from the Cosmo Cricket Jolly By Golly line, which happens to be one of my favorite winter paper kits to come out in ages. I am crazy for the bright colors and fun graphics.
Here is a detail shot:
Tomorrow I'll be back with a fun tip regarding the title above ("Winter").
