Anthropologie inspired this sudden desire to shop, so it's only fair that I begin with a few items from them.

This top is so different and so...NOT ME. lol. I love it, though. It would look great on someone with a tan. (Which, sadly, is the last word you would use to describe the current state of my skin.)

Cyber Monday. That means I'm in the shopping mood. (but when am I not?) I know, I should just turn this blog into a shopping one instead of a crafting one. Don't tempt me, because I might. :o)

This dress is soooo cute for holiday parties!! In South Texas, that is - I don't know if you'd want to wear it where it's snowing. I don't even know if my workplace has parties - I guess I need to find out.

 
If I could have any dress on the planet right now, I would want this one that Leighton Meester wore to promote Herbal Essences recently. I don't know who makes it, but I want it!! Here's another view of it: awesome dress. That website is a great time-waster, btw. 

This town is the best place for shopping. Seriously - love it. Daisy and I just spent a day there this weekend, and we didn't want to leave. I would consider moving there, but that would probably be dangerous for my wallet. I would literally shop all day, every day. This store is my favorite. This restaurant is one of the best in Texas. If you want to visit Gruene anytime soon, go on December 4th!! I'll be there then because they're having their Town Lighting that day. Cowboy Kringle rides into town on horseback and lights Gruene for the holidays. The kids can have their photos taken with him while he's there. Gruene Market Days are going on that weekend, too. That also happens to be the day when the Pony Express makes a stop in Gruene and riders bring a Christmas message from the Governor of Texas. If you bring your Christmas cards you can have them stamped that day with the 2010 commemorative stamp of Gruene, TX. Let me know if you're going that day and I'll meet you out there. :o)

My favorite new shop in San Antonio...Brittan's House. Such cute clothes for me and awesome goodies for the house + a great place to shop for last minute gifts. 

This t-shirt...I love it. It's from The Sabrina Barnett Collection and many of her items support various women's charities. I just love the angel wings on the back of it.

Must-Have Scrapbook Supplies

I just added a new page to the blog called "Must-Have Scrapbook Supplies" ( <--------- over there, to the left, under "Good Stuff"). I wanted a central place where I could list my favorite products. I notice I'm constantly linking to the same things (corner rounder punch anyone? I seem to use it on every page...) and I thought it would be nice to keep all of my go-to items in one convenient location.

Of course, I added shopping links, because I'm a good enabler. You can thank me later. :o)

There are so many must-haves in my stash that I think I'll be adding to this list on a weekly basis. I haven't figured out how to add my favorite papers, just yet. For now, I only added a few paper collection packs. I literally have hundreds of papers I never tire of, because I am a patterned paper fan like no other. Papers are discontinued so frequently that I hate to link them and then have the links go bad after just a few months. I'm going to think about it a bit and see if I can find a way to effectively share the paper love. If you have any suggestions, let me know!

I also need to find a way to link to some of my favorite discontinued items (like Making Memories Word Fetti stickers, which I could use on every layout I make, or Heidi Swapp chipboard hearts...which I could also use on everything!).

Until I get it all figured out, I think I'll just add my favorite paper-of-the-day for today. Pink and polka dots...how can you go wrong with that combination? :o)

I've always been a fan of ledger paper. When Making Memories discontinued theirs a few years ago, I stocked up on it. It's nice to know I don't have to be too careful with my stash anymore, now that BasicGrey has released one I like just as much:

Custom Necklaces (Making Memories)

My blogging friend Laura Vegas recently posted a link to a few necklaces she created with the Making Memories Vintage Groove collection. i.fell.in.love. (Not with Laura, although she is super-sweet, but with the necklaces.) Her pal Sierra also created quite a few with her and you can see them on her blog. Unique jewelry is just my style.

The Vintage Groove collection is designed by Jill Schwartz and you can find her custom jewelry (pre-assembled) for sale on her site HERE. However, if you'd like to get creative and make your own custom necklaces, you can purchase the individual pieces to do so. They are currently available at Target and AC Moore stores. I *believe* other stores may have them in the near future, so I'll definitely post if I see that happen.

In the meantime, here is a link to the Making Memories Jewelry site, so you can get an idea of the offerings. I think they would make an excellent mother's day gift! The kits are my favorite.
